Pet adoption

Finally we adopted a puppy from CAP(Citizens for animal protection).
We were looking around for an ideal type dog that is medium size, under 1y, Female. We spent several weekends going to shelters and pet shop.

 Our first pet, Maybelline

She is 6 months old, Black Lab / Shepherd mix. Stray...
I guess she still doesn't know what means walking with master or people.
She crawled around on grass when we asked to walk outside. But so behavior act herself, No balk and be cute.
She will come to our house on Wednesday. I hope she likes her new home, Be with us long long time in happiness :)

This three animal shelters would be good to find a pet in Houston

1. Citizens for animal protection - 17555 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77094
This shelter is very clean condition. Decent number of animal in there.
Has a variation pets. I recommend you check-up site first than go before noon.
We found Maybelline in here.

2. Houston SPCA - 900 Portway Drive, Houston, TX 77024
Not much dogs in there. I guess the shelter was on in the morning News when we went. Clean place, nice cage for holding cats especially. If you're cat lover great place to go.

3. Montgomery County Animal Shelter - 8535 Texas 242 Conroe, TX 77385
I love this place! But little bit messy with lots of animals.
Needs a time for clean-up in the dog adopt section (Maybe you could miss some dogs for check up while they are cleaning cages). It'll be better to visit after noon. If you want a big dog this shelter would be perfect to find. THERE ARE SO MANY BIG DOGS in there.
